What is VirtuaGuy?

VirtuaGuy is a free software that brings strippers right to your Windows desktop.

Guys come to dance and strip on your Windows bar, while you continue using your computer.
Really free?

Yes, the software is 100% free.

It comes with unlimited free Guys updates. You'll get the non nudity show of a new Guy automatically downloaded to your desktop every day.

If you want the Guys to strip for you, you can either subscribe or buy them individually on the "Buy Guys" page.
A new Guy every day?

Yes, VirtuaGuy communicates with our servers and randomly picks and downloads the trailer (non nudity) show of a new Guy every day.
What's the cost?

VirtuaGuy can be enjoyed for free. It comes with unlimited free updates of Guys and there is no obligation to buy anything. You can keep the software and the Guys for as long as you want without paying.

You can buy a Membership that includes the full nudity show of every Guy automatically delivered to your desktop every day. It goes from $9.95 to $14.95 a month depending how long you commit for.

You can also buy Guy's full show individually for as low as $2.

Any Spyware, Adware, Viruses or anything I would not like?

Absolutely NOT.

VirtuaGuy is certified 100% clean by McAfee and contains no spyware, adware, virus or anything you would not want on your computer.

Make sure you're using the most recent, up-to-date browser.

How do I get the videos to work?

Guy's interviews and videos are in Windows Media format or Divx.
You need the latest version of Windows Media Player. You can download it for free here.
Can I still access VirtuagGuy 2?

VirtuaGuy2.com is still up and running for people who still have membership there. We redirect all incoming traffic to VirtuaGuyHD.com, so if you need to go to the member's area, you need to go directly here: http://members.virtuaGuy2.com/

3. About the Software

I lost all my models, what to do?

This is a very very rare bug that we are still trying to resolve. Don't panic, all your models are still on your hard drive.

1) Quit VirtuaGuy
2) Delete the models.lst from "C:/Documents and Settings/usersname/Application Data/vghd/Data/models.lst"
3) hit the check for updates button in the download tab of the option box of the software.
How to install VirtuaGuy?

Click on the green button located on the Download page to start downloading and installing VirtuaGuy on your desktop.

When the download dialog box appears, click "Run"

A security dialog box will appear showing that VirtuaGuy.exe is made by Totem. Click "Run"

VirtuaGuy's online installation will start.

You might get a warning from your firewall asking if it should let VirtuaGuy access to the internet. Please authorize the access to continue the installation.

Remain connected to the Internet and follow the onscreen instructions, you’re a few minutes away from getting Guys on your desktop!

Why register?

In order to become a member of our community and start receiving new Guys you have to register yourself. Please choose a login and a password and enter them in the corresponding fields. Your account will be created among the VirtuaGuy user's community and it will register your software, enabling it to start downloading Guys from our servers.
Registration is free and easy and we respect your privacy (please review our privacy policy for more information).
How to register?

You'll be prompted to register during the installation process. If you missed that part or had any problem during the installation, right click on the white "V" on a red (or black) background in your systray and select "Register". If you can't see a white "V" on a red (or black) background in your systray, it means VirtuaGuy is not running on your computer and you need to download it again.

Please choose a login and a password and enter them in the fields. Your account will be created among the VirtuaGuy user's community and it will register your software, enabling it to start downloading Guys from our servers.
How to uninstall VirtuaGuy

VirtuaGuy is provided with a full automatic un-install procedure.

execute Start/Program/VirtuaGuy HD/uninstall and VirtuaGuy will be automatically removed from your PC.
Where is VirtuaGuy on my PC?

VirtuaGuy is visible in your systray taskbar as a white 'V' on a red background (or a black one if not active).

Left click on this "V" icon to make the Guy show up when she's not there, do it again when she's there to hide her quickly. Right click on the icon to display the menu.
The V icon flashes with a !

If the V icon flashes with a "!" : it warns you of a problem with downloads.
Please open the software options (right clik the V icon and select options), go to the "downloads" tab and check your status.
- if 'not connected' : the software cannot communicate with the servers perhaps inet provider, firewall or so, please check on your end.
- if 'virtuaGuy_downloader not found' then go back to the V icon, right click and quit virtuaGuyHD. Then relaunch it from your start menu / programs / virtuaGuyHD / virtuaGuyHD. It should be fine now.
The systray menu

Right click on the V icon in the systray (a right 'V' on a red or black background) menu to display the menu.

Quit: Quits VirtuaGuy.
Browse All Guys: Brings you on the website where you can check all our Guys.
Options: Display the option box.
Help: brings you here.
Active: Allows / prevents Guys to show up on your screen.
Register: To register the program, disappears once you're registered.

Main box
- Small Mode Settings
  - Size
    Use the slider to adjust the guys' size when they are small.
  - Transparency
    Use the slider to adjust the the guys' transparency when they are small.
- Full Mode Settings
  - Size
    Use the slider to adjust the guys' size when they are in full mode.
  - Transparency
    Use the slider to adjust the the guys' transparency when they are in full mode.
Appearence
- Appear Every
  Use the slider to set how often the guys visit you
- Left / Randow / Right
  Choose where you want the guys to show up on your screen
- Shadow Mode
  Check this box if you want the guys to appear as a shadow on your screen (click in the box on the right to select the color of the shadow).
- Always on Top
  Check this box if you want the guys to appear always on top of all other windows (recommended)
Preferences
- Play no nudity shows:
  Allow guys to appear fully dressed.
- Allow Topless shows:
  Allow guys to appear topless on your desktop
- Allow Full Nudity shows:
  Allow guys to appear fully nude on your desktop.
- Allow Explicit Behaviour
  Allow sexually explicit conducts
- Allow Interactivity:
  Allow guys to ask you spontaneously about what you want through dialog bubbles. Please note that disabling this option don't prevent you from interacting with guys by clicking on them. This option is grayed-out and not available in the current version.
- Voices
  Check this box if you want to hear the guys when they speak to you
- Music
  Check this box if you want music to be played during stripteases. This option is grayed and not available in the current version.
Presets Selection
Choose one of the four classic settings for VirtuaGuy.
- Classic (recommended) makes the Guys appear in small mode on your screen and let you click on them to see them full mode.
- Light makes gliding over your applications with a lot of transparency.
- Shades makes the guys appear in shadows.
- Maximal makes the Guys appear in maximum size for both modes.
Confirm
Confirms all the changes made.

Cancel
Discard all the changes made.
The Option box / My Collection

This page displays your collection of Guys.
Each line shows a small thumb of the Guy, her card number, name.
Trailers appear in blue, they are free and contain no nudity.
The full shows appear in red and feature nudity.
You can enable / disable any Guy by checking the box on the right of her line.
Unchecked Guy won't appear anymore on your desktop.

Select any line to display the Guy's status in the right colunm.
Note : the "free trailer x days left" means this trailer will disappear from your software in x+1 days.

There you can:
- buy her full show : it brings you to her page on the site
- schedule her download : she will be enqueued in the list of files to download
- delete her from your disk (you will still be able to download here again as long as she appears in your list)
- enable/disable her show
- call her to your screen immediately with the "perform now" button..

Sort your list:
you can sort your list of Guys by card number, name or date.
Click once on the type of sort you want and Guys will be sorted in rising order (a->z; 1->1000; jan->dec), click again, it is sorted in descending order(z->a; 1000->1; dec->jan).

This page displays the Guy that is going to visit you tomorrow.
Clicking on the Guy's image displays her profile.
The Option box / Download

Automatically download trailers
Check this box if you want the software to automatically download the free trailers of the Guys (recommended). Turning this option off will prevent you from getting a new Guy on your desktop every day

Automatically download full shows
Check this box if you want the software to automatically download the full shows of the Guys (recommended). This option works only for paying members who receive the Guys' full shows.

Allow background downloading after program quits
Check this box if you want the software to automatically download the shows whereas VirtuaGuyHD is closed(recommended). Uncheck the box and virtuaGuy_downloader process will stop till next time you launch virtuaGuyHD.

Name
This is the name of the Guys and her outfit. You can also see if it her full show or only the trailer (in this case, it says (Trailer))

Percentage
Indicates the percentage of download achieved. Please note that the percentage refers to the number of files to be downloaded.

Downloaded
Indicates how much data has been downloaded

Progress bar
Shows the progression of the download

Status
This indicates the status of the download:
Waiting when the download has not started yet
In Progress when the download is being performed
Done when the download has benn achieved
What's in the menu that appears when you right click on Guys?

When you right click on a Guy while she's performing, a menu appears:

- CARD # - Name

- Make her my favorite for today: The favorite of the day will show up more often that any other Guy that day.
- Buy her: Bring you on the website where you can buy the Guy.

- Display her Webpage: As it says
- Send her to my friends: brings you to the site's page where you can email virtuaGuy to your friends

- Full mode: Check or uncheck this to switch between small and full modes. You can also left click on the Guy to do that.
- Switch to next Guy: As it says
What's the favorite of the day?

Favorite of the day is usually the latest Guy that has been downloaded to your PC.

The favorite of the day will show up more often that any other Guy that day.

To change your favorite Guy of the day and have one Guy of your choice to appear more often than all the others :right click the Guy of your choice when she shows up on your desktop and select "Make her my Favorite for today"
Which operating systems are supported?

VirtuaGuy® runs on Microsoft® Windows® NT, 2000, XP and Vista.

It also works perfectly on Mac® with Parallels Desktop® or other similar applications.
What's the Software update?

VirtuaGuy checks for updates on our servers once a day .
If a new version of VirtuaGuy is available, you'll be prompted to install it.
Is VirtuaGuy safe for kids?

Although it's intended for adults, the free version contains no nudity at all. If you buy a Guy or become a member, you can disable all nudity in the Options/settings.
How much space does VirtuaGuy use?

VirtuaGuy requires about 20Mb.
Every Guy’s free trailer takes an extra 1 to 3Mb.
Any Guy’s full show takes from 200 to 350Mb.
Can I backup the Guys?

Yes. Simply go to c:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERNAME\Application Data\vghd\Models where you'll find a folder for each Guy.
(VISTA USERS: go to c:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\vghd\models )

You can freely backup any folder and delete them from there if you want to make space on your hard drive.

Avoid to remove the folders from the Guys that are scheduled for the coming days as the program will attempt to download them again if you remove them.

To restore any Guy from a backup, simply copy back her folder at the same place.
Can I install VirtuaGuy on more than one PC?

Yes. We grand you a licence for two PCs.
Once you installed the software on one PC and created your account, install the software on the second PC and register using the same login and password.
Can I transfer Guys from one PC to another?

If you're running VirtuaGuy on two PCs (let's say at home and at the office), you can copy any Guy's folder from one PC to the other to save download time.

Guys can't be transfered to/from a PC running a version of VirtuaGuy registered by someone else.
I have a bug to report, what should I do?

Please select "I have a bug to report" in our online form in the Customer Service.

Make sure to give us as many details as you can and include your detailed configuration (Browser, Version of Windows, PC etc).
I'm a former member, does VirtuaGuy HD works with the Guys of VirtuaGuy and VirtuaGuy2?

No. This is a completely new software displaying only Hi Definition, it won't play the old stuff.
But you can have VirtuaGuy 2 and VirtuaGuy HD running at the same time on you PC.
The two softwares communicate to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Do you offer any tools for developers?

We're not offering any tools as for now but feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions.
What does HD stands for?

HD stands for High Definition. VirtuaGuy started back in 1998 with Guys so tiny that you would not even notice them on a today's screen. It has evolved over the years to come to HD. Here the Guys are so big and the image is so crisp that you can see every detail.
Is VirtuaGuy running on WebTV?

No, sorry, VirtuaGuy won't run on WebTV.
Is VirtuaGuy running on Mac?

There is no Mac version, but VirtuaGuy works perfectly fine with applications like Parallels Desktop for Mac which enables you to run Windows, Linux, and more side-by-side with Mac OS X on any Intel-powered Mac, without rebooting.

My drive is filling up. How to move all Guys to another drive?

Copy the VGHD data directories (i.e. the entire VGHD folder with the sub folders) from where you have it to the other drive which would then be X:\VGHD (where X is your other drive)

Uninstall VGHD and then reinstall and watch for the option to change the data directory, its not a prompt, just a section on the setup screen.

When you browse to select the drive X, it will display the new destination as X:\\. Do not worry about the second slash. You should then be right to re-update your rights and the models should not be redownloaded.
Problems with two Operating Systems installed

If you have two operating systems installed on your PC, make sure you locate VirtuaGuy's data directory on the partition where you have installed the Operating System you use the most.
On the other partition you'll see only the trailers.
Means if you have 1. XP and 2. Vista and you install vghd on vista, you'll be able to see the full shows and trailers on vista and on XP only the trailers.
Protect by password

You can choose to protect VirtuaGuyHD with a password.
To do so : Check the box "Protect by password "striptease" in the Options / Desktop tab.
You'll be requested this password each time you wish to activate the software.

4. About the Guys

How do I set or change my favorite VirtuaGuy?

Go to any Guy's profile and set her rating. Your favorite VirtuaGuys will be the ones you gave the best rating to.
Which Guys do I get?

Your software picks up Guys from the 600+ available so that they come and visit you.

We also keep adding new Guys on a regular basis, check out the "What's New" section to see the latest ones added.

Check the "My Collection" tab of the option box in the software to see the Guys that already visited you. And on the "Coming Soon" tab you can check the one that is scheduled for tomorrow.
Do people collect Guys?

Yes they do.
Our servers are scheduling Guys randomly for each user to make each collection unique.
You'll quickly discover that most Guys performed more than once for us and that you can try to find the rest of their shows to complete your collection.
How do you choose outfits?

It's a mix. We rely on the Guys themselves to bring as many outfits as they can and we also spend a lot of time shopping for the craziest outfits around.
Then the Guys pick out their own outfits, themes, tell our makeup artist what kind of hair and make-up they want.
Where are the Guys from?

Most of our models are coming from eastern Europe. As you'll see browsing our website, young Guys are beautiful over there.
We also produce American Guys from time to time in order to bring you the best of both worlds. Famous models as Sunny Leone, Aria Giovanni… also contributed to make VirtuaGuy unique (If you never experienced Crissy Moran half naked waking you in the morning, you don't know half of what computers have been made for...)
Are free trailers expiring?

Yes, free trailers only last two weeks on your computer. You can check how many remaining days there is for each of them in "My Collection" in the software options.

Of course when you buy a full show, it never ever expires.

How often will I be charged for your services?

You'll be charged at each purchase of tickets only.
How do I buy Guys individually?

You first need to credit your account with money then go to the Guy's profile and click on Buy Her Now.

You can also use Free Tickets if you have any.
How much are the Guys?

Price differs from one Guy to another, revolving around $2.
There is a $1 Special Offer for on e different Guy every day, that appear on the site home page
All Guys can also be bought with Free Tickets.
How do I get Free Tickets?

Free Tickets are obtained when you spend money with us or by sending VirtuaGuy to your friends. You’ll be given the option to use them when buying a Guy.
How do I download a Guy after I bought her individually?

After you bought a Guy on the website, please go to the "Download" tab of the software Option box and click on "Check for Updates" button in the lower right corner.

If the box "Automatically download full shows" is checked in the Download Tab (that's the default setting), then the Guy you just bought will start downloading immediately.

Otherwise she will be available for you to download manually in the "My Collection" tab (using the "Download Now" button ).

If you don't go in the "Download" tab of the Option box and click on "Check for Updates" button, she will be added to your collection on the next automatic update which happens once a day.
Is it safe to buy with my Credit Card?

We rely on third party processors such as Paycom, ccBill or CommerceGate to charge you. This is the safest and most convenient way to purchase access to on-line venues. They all use SECURED transaction servers (128-Bit Encrypted SSL), process millions of on-line transactions each year, have strong privacy policies and 24/7 customer services on top of ours.
What is my bank statement going to show?

Your credit card or bank statement will show a charge from Paycom, CCbill or CGBilling depending on the payment processor you selected.
Can I use my debit card?

As long as your debit card has a VISA or MasterCard logo on it, you can use it like you'd use a credit card.
Can I join even if I don't have a credit card or US checking account?

Unfortunately, PayPal has decided not to do business with adult businesses so we are unable to offer memberships through their service.
How do I cancel my account?

If you want to cancel you account, go to your profile and click on "Cancel my membership" and follow the instructions.
What if I cancel my account in between two rebills?

If you cancel your account before that date, we will not charge your account anymore ; it will expire after your 30 day membership. For example, if you signed up on January 15th and cancelled on January 30th, your membership will expire on February 14th.
I'm still having a problem, who can I contact?

Go to the model's page and select "Pay by SMS / Phone" or on the "Buy Guys" page, select "Pay by SMS".
This option is available only to buy ONE ticket. Please be aware that the price can differ depending on your country operators.

If "Pay by credit card" or "Pay by check" payment options do not work for you, please try "Other ways to pay" option. If this last option does not work either, please contact "Customer Support" in the Help section of the web site.

Can I share my account with my friends?

No. If there are too many separate IPs accessing the site in a set period of time or if we see two people logged at once on the same account, your account will be terminated and you will not be given a refund.
How do I login?

Enter your username and password in the boxes at the upper right hand corner of any page.

We're saving a cookie on your computer to spare you from having to login each time you come and visit us.
My password isn't working

First, make sure your cookies are enabled in your browser. Second, make sure the password you enter is the exact one you chose. Your username and password are CaSe SeNsiTiVe (letter "a" is NOT the same as "A") and must be entered in exactly the same way as when you joined. The easiest is to copy & paste them from the subscription confirmation you received by email. If it's still not working, follow the "I forgot my password" procedure below.

How to I change my password/email address/profile information?

Go to "My Profile". There you can edit all your profile information by clicking on the "Edit" buttons.

Your Password is now choosen by the system during the installation process and can't be changed.
How do I upload my profile's picture?

Below your picture in your profile, click on the "Browse" button and select the picture you'd like on your PC.
I can't upload my profile pic. What's wrong?

Check that your image is a JPEG (.jpg), GIF (.gif), BITMAP (.bmp) or PNG (.png) file.
Can I change my username?

Unfortunately no, you can't change your username.
What kind of behaviour can get my account suspended?

How do I create a new topic

Go to "Community" and select the "Forum" tab.

Click on "Add New Topic" to add a new entry.
How do reply to other posts

Once you are reading other's posts in a topic, simply click on the "Reply" button at the bottom right of the page.
How do I add an image to my posts?

Use the browse files button at the bottom of the add entry popup box and select the image you want to add to your post.
Can I submit my own artwork?

Yes you can. Go to the Guy's profile and select the "Submit your artwork" tab.

Submissions are moderated, keep it clean and classy. If accepted, your submission will appear within 2-5 days.
